Firstly, if
you have a Firewall installed on your PC this may interfere
with the processing of registrations, on my own system I have to
temporarily disable the Firewall to allow me to submit certain on-line
forms, so it may be worth looking at that angle first. However,
either way, the following information should help you get started.
When selecting
the Paypal link from the CD order form on the site, you should
be taken directly to the Paypal payment screen. There you will
see
'"If you have never paid through PayPal, "
Once you
click on that button you will be taken to a registration page
that asks for the details of the credit card you wish to use along
with your name, address, the email address you wish to use (this
will be your log-in name) and telephone number. If you dont wish
your telephone number to be listed, simply put in a fake number,
as long as it has the correct number of digits it will be accepted!
At the area asking for your postal address it will ask you if
you are outside the United States and when you click on that it
will alter the fields slightly to accomodate a non-US address.
Making sure you fill in all the fields, simply carry on until
you reach the end, its probably a good idea to think of an eight
letter password you would like to use so that you are prepared
when you get to that question.
Simply submit the form when completed, and follow the instructions.
What happens next is that an email is sent to the email address
you have nominated, you need to respond to that as directed to
confirm your email address, and your account is then activated.
There is
one further step, when you submit your form, Paypal will make
US$1.95 charge to the credit card you have nominated (about £1.25),
and alongside that amount there will be a Paypal member number.
If you can access your credit card on-line and obtain that number
that will speed up the process, otherwise you need to wait for
your credit card statement. You will get an email from Paypal
telling you all this, and once you have your member number, you
click on the link contained in that email, enter your member number,
this will verify your credit card, and you can then go ahead and
make payment.
Unfortunately,
there is no quick way around this, we use Paypal because their
security requirements are very stringent for your protection,
but it also means that delays can occur in making payments. However,
once you have established your account, you can use it to safely
and securely make payments to anyone who has an email address,
it is fast, simple and very safe.
I hope this
information helps, but please do not hesitate to contact me on

if I can be
of any further assistance.
